Sak's positive attitude and motivation to succeed have earned him the honor of being named Perry's Student of the Month for February. “His goal is always to better understand the world of design,” said instructor Shawn Hayden. “I am excited for him and for his future.” A native of Toppenish, Sak studied television production at Spokane Falls Community College, Yakima Valley Community College and Central Washington University. He worked at television stations in Casper, Wyoming, and Reno, Nevada, before returning to Yakima to work for a local station. “I knew I had creative abilities, but I needed to hone and stretch my skills,” he said.
